People vaccinated in Zug to receive a vaccination certificate

People who have already vaccinated can have the vaccination certificate signed at the vaccination centre in Baar. It is also possible to enter the certification into the standard vaccination booklet.

Every person who has been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the canton of Zug since the beginning of the vaccination campaign can receive a written proof of vaccination, according to a statement from the Health Directorate. The information on this document can be used to check where and when which vaccine was administered at any time. The printed vaccination certificates are generally valid without a signature.

However, because there had been "repeated enquiries" in this regard, the canton of Zug decided to "sign and stamp these documents from now on". If you have already received both vaccinations and want to have the vaccination certificate signed retrospectively, you can do so on the following dates (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in each case) at the vaccination centre in Baar without prior registration:

Entry in the vaccination booklet or on the vaccination card possible
"At the request of the population”, an entry in the vaccination card, i.e. the vaccination booklet or the vaccination card, is now also possible. Persons who wish to have this entry should take their vaccination card with them on the vaccination date. A subsequent entry in the vaccination card is possible from the vaccination centre for the above-mentioned dates without prior notification.

Electronic format recommended
The canton of Zug recommends the electronic vaccination certificate "myCOVIDvac" to the entire population. A mouse click when registering online for corona vaccination is sufficient to receive this ID automatically as soon as it is technically ready. The costs of this electronic proof of vaccination will be covered by the Canton of Zug.
