One-way traffic in the Untermühlestrasse from Monday

The renovation work on Untermühlestrasse in Cham is progressing well. For the second phase, however, the Untermühlestrasse must be run in a one-way regime between the Knonauerstrasse and Friesencham intersections.

The first construction phase of the renovation work on Untermühlestrasse in Cham has been completed, and the second phase will now follow. From Monday onwards, traffic can no longer be guided with a traffic light system as up to now, as a result of another construction site at the Langackerstrasse junction. This has been announced by the municipality of Cham. The traffic from the direction of the Sinserstrasse will therefore be in the one-way regime from Monday.

In the opposite direction, from the Knonauerstrasse, traffic will be diverted through the village centre of Cham. The traffic situation will be indicated in detail. There are no restrictions for cyclists and pedestrians.

One-way regime applies until mid-December
The one-way regime is expected to remain in place until 16 December 2022. The municipality of Cham is doing everything in its power to complete the further civil engineering work by the end of the year. The top surface is then to be installed under full closure in the summer holidays of 2023.
