Noemi Ryhner to miss the Olympic Games

There's been a huge misfortune for EVZ women’s ice hockey forward Noemi Ryhner: the 25-year-old from Baar was injured on Friday in the Cup semi-final against the ZSC Lions, when she collided with her teammate Nina Harju. According to the EVZ, she thereby suffered a broken fibula.

The club has not yet ruled out her return during the current season, which lasts until the end of March at the latest. What is certain, however, is that the Swiss national team forward will have to miss the Olympic Winter Games in February.
