Noemi Ryhner out for several weeks due to injury
EVZ forward Noemi Ryhner injured her shoulder in a tackle during last Saturday's game against the ZSC Lions, as the club announced on Friday.
Further examinations at Zug Cantonal Hospital have revealed that the native of Baar will not be able to resume training for at least two weeks.
In order to strengthen the injury-weakened offensive squad, the EVZ has signed German-American Kristina Kontny until the end of the season. The 37-year-old will train with the Zug women from the national team break onwards. She is joining the EVZ from the ZSC Lions organisation, where she has been involved for the past eleven years.

Vallario invited to New York camp
In addition, defender Nicole Vallario will join the New York Sirens (PWHL) training camp on 6th November, according to the EVZ statement. New York will finalise its squad on 19th November, and will start the new season three days later against Ottawa. If Nicole Vallario does not make the squad, she will return to Zug after the camp.
