New photographs of members of the cantonal government published

New photographs of the Zug cantonal government has been published, taken in a somewhat unusual setting.

The first photograph shows the members standing formally along with the secretary to the government, Tobias Moser (on the extreme left) and the deputy secretary to the cantonal government, Renée Spillmann Siegwart, on the extreme right.

Next to Moser is Andreas Hostettler (FDP), head of the Department of Inner Cantonal Affairs. Next to him is Heinz Tännler (SVP), who heads the Department of Finance, on whose left is Martin Pfister, the head of the Department of Health and Statthalter, (deputy head of the cantonal government). On his left is Stephan Schleiss (SVP), the director of education and Landammann (the head of the cantonal government), who in turn is standing next to Beat Villiger (CVP), who heads the Department of Justice. Next to him is the only woman in the cantonal government, Silvia Thalmann-Gut (CVP), who heads the Department of Economic Development. On her left is Florian Weber (FDP), who heads the Department of Planning.

The setting chosen for the photograph was the workshop of the joinery department at the Zug Trade and Industrial Training School (GIBZ) amid items made by the school-leaving class of the Zug High School for Technology and Design (HFTG), who were given the task of creating furniture from simple products.

The second photograph shows the members of the cantonal government in a less formal pose without the secretaries, indicating perhaps, as Harry Ziegler, senior editor of the Zuger Zeitung jokingly wrote, that, Moser and Spillmann Siegwart clearly exert only a minimal influence over the governmental team when they themselves are not present.
