Neugasse to be closed on two Sundays in July

Over the past four months, the municipal drainage system in the section of the Neugasse from the Postplatz to the Kolinplatz in the city of Zug has been adapted to meet legal requirements.

The Neugasse will now have to be completely closed for surfacing work between 6 am and 5 am on the following day, from Sunday, 6th July to Monday, 7th July, and from Sunday, 13th July, to Monday, 14th July. This has been announced by the cantonal building department (Kantonalen Baudirektion).

A diversion for private traffic has been signalled, and buses will travel via the Zeughausgasse, whereby the bus stops on the Kolinplatz will not be served. The replacement stops for bus routes 603, 605, 611 and 614 will be located in the St. Oswaldsgasse. Access to the properties is guaranteed during the construction work.

In the event of bad weather, the construction work will be postponed to the following weekend, according to the report from the building department.
