Motorist crashes into guardrail on A4a

A female driver lost control of her car on the A4a in Baar and crashed into the central guardrail. The young woman was slightly injured and the car suffered total damage.

On Saturday, 23 May, a 20-year-old female motorist was entering the A4a motorway at the Baar junction in the direction of Zug shortly before 6.30 pm. According to a report from the Zug law enforcement authorities, she lost control of her car, crashed into the central crash barrier and came to a stop on the overtaking lane.

The accident car suffered total damage

The young woman was slightly injured in the accident, and had to be taken to hospital by the Zug ambulance service for a check-up. The breath alcohol test carried out at the person responsible for the accident was negative. The vehicle suffered total damage.

Overtaking lane closed during salvage work
The overtaking  lane had to be closed during the recovery of the car. Employees of the Zug ambulance service, the Zentras, a private towing company and the Zug police were deployed.
