Motorcyclist sustains serious injuries as he fails to negotiate bend

A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after he failed to negotiate a bend on Aegeristrasse in the municipality on Saturday morning.

The incident happened shortly after 11.40 am shortly after the 55-year-old, who was driving a machine with a side-car attached, crossed the Lorzentobelbrücke bridge travelling towards Zug.

So serious were his injuries that he was taken to a specialist clinic beyond the cantonal border.

Police are still investigating the precise circumstances of the incident.

No other vehicle was involved.
