Man harasses woman on the Landsgemeindeplatz

An altercation occurred in the city of Zug on Saturday afternoon. Because the statements of those involved are contradictory, the police are now seeking witnesses.
 

An altercation between a man and a married couple occurred on the Landsgemeindeplatz in the city of Zug on Saturday afternoon. According to the Zug Police, a woman was harassed by a man shortly after 3:30 pm and was pushed into a hedge. After a verbal argument with her husband, the suspected perpetrator fled on foot towards the city limits.

Police officers were able to stop and arrest the 22-year-old Afghan man a short time later near the Schützenmattwiese. He behaved aggressively, verbally threatening the police and striking them.

Because the statements of those involved are contradictory, the police are now seeking witnesses.
