Local company has electrified and converted a DeLorean
The Hagendorn-based company Manufaktur Marton GmbH says it has electrified and converted a DeLorean car.
The cult car with the gullwing doors is well-known from the legendary “Back to the Future” films. Only around 9,000 of these were produced – and they all have a standard weakness: the engine.
“It brought the DeLorean to 100 kilometres per hour in just over 10 seconds. This is definitely too little for a sports car in this price class, after all it cost more than a Porsche 911 at the time,” wrote the managers of the Hagendorn company.

They have thereby fitted the Delorean with a powerful electric motor, and have also upgraded the interior, including a “Back to the Future" mode in the dashboard, they add.
A Hagendorn DeLorean is thereby most likely unique in the past, present and the future!
