Latest Corona figures
On Thursday morning, the canton of Zug reported 74 new cases in the last 24 hours, compared to 61 on Wednesday and 52 on Tuesday.
17 people are in hospital care, which is three more than the previous day. Of these, two are in intensive care, one more than the day before.

The Federal Office of Public Health reported 5,256 new cases throughout Switzerland on Thursday. On Wednesday, there were 5,596 new infections over the previous 24 hours. A further eleven people have died in connection with Covid-19.
Health Minister Alain Berset met the health directors (GDK) of the cantons on Thursday to discuss the way forward in the Corona crisis, and the Confederation intends to consult the cantons in the next few days, announced Berset. The Federal Council is then due to decide whether tougher measures are necessary next Wednesday.
"We call on the Federal Government to take further measures," said GDK President Lukas Engelberger. He cited as examples:
- Compulsory masks at work
- Restriction of leisure and sports activities
- Maintaining contact tracing in each canton
