Inebriated woman driver causes accident

A woman driver who was under the influence of alcohol hit another vehicle. She was observed doing this, and has now had to hand in her driver's license.
Around 7:30 pm on Sunday evening (26 June 2022), an eyewitness observed a woman driver colliding with a van on the Altgasse in Baar while reversing out of parking space. The woman drive then drove away without worrying about the possible damage. The eyewitness then informed the Operations Control Centre in Zug.
 

After carrying out investigations on site, the police then went to the place of residence of the accused woman. A breath alcohol measurement carried out on the 47-year-old was positive, with a value of 1.21 mg /L. Her driver's license was thereby confiscated by the administrative authority (Road Traffic Office).

She will now have to appear before the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Zug.
