Hünenberg trade exhibition / Raiffeisen AGM postponed

Following an extraordinary meeting, at which the current situation regarding the coronavirus was intensively discussed, the Organisation Committee (OK) of the Hüna 2020 (Hünenberg Trade Exhibition) has decided to cancel this year's exhibition. As has become known in the meantime, the Federal Council has announced a ‘special situation’ in accordance with the Epidemic Act and has prohibited all events with more than 1,000 people, with effect up to March 15, 2020, reported the OK in a media release.

"The organisation committee is assuming that the ban will be extended," and has therefore decided to cancel the Hüna 2020 with good notice (a good 3 weeks before the set up), and to thereby reduce the costs for the exhibitors, as well as for the OK, as far as possible.

The Hüna will be carried out in the same format next year, from Friday March 26th to Sunday March 28th, 2021. The media release added that the entire OK and the four main sponsors (Raiffeisen, Jego, EGH and Einhorn Bräu) have confirmed that they will also be on board next year.

It has also been announce today that the Annual General Meeting of the Raiffeisenbank Hünenberg, which was planned for Friday, 13th March, has now also been postponed. No substitute date has been announced as yet, but futher information can be found on www.raiffeisen.ch
