Four accidents within a very short space of time

There were several traffic accidents on Wednesday, with property damage amounting to tens of thousands of Swiss francs.

Baar: agricultural trailer hits delivery truck
There was a collision between a tractor with a trailer and a delivery truck on the Schochenmühlestrasse in Baar shortly before 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Fortunately, no one was injured, according to a report from Zug law enforcement authorities on Thursday. While the agricultural trailer was undamaged, the material damage to the delivery truck amounted to several thousand Swiss francs.

Cham: three pack on the A4 motorway
Shortly before 5 p.m., just in time for the rush-hour traffic, a rear-end collision involving three vehicles occurred on the A4 motorway, in the direction of Lucerne after the Blegi curve. One of those involved in the accident, a 53-year-old man, was taken to hospital for checks. The material damage to the two cars and the delivery van amounted to tens of thousands of Swiss francs.

Gisikon: blocked overtaking lane
Another rear-end collision occurred on the A14 motorway near Gisikon shortly after 5:15 p.m., with the two cars coming to a standstill in the overtaking  lane after the collision. According to the Zug police responsible for this section of the route, no one was injured, but the material damage to the vehicles amounted to around CHF 15,000.

Cham: inattention leads to bodywork damage
The last of the series of accidents, another rear-end collision involving two cars, occurred at 6:30 p.m. on the A4 motorway, after the Blegi curve in the direction of Lucerne. No one was injured, but the damage to the vehicles amounted to several thousand Swiss francs.
