Fire breaks out in a mobile WC

A fire broke out inside a mobile toilet. The flames were fortunately quickly extinguished, and no-one was injured.

On Wednesday evening, 21 October 2020, shortly after 6 p.m., the Operation Control Centre of the Zug Police received a report that a mobile WC was burning on the Industriestrasse, at the rear of the Metalli shopping centre.

The immediately alarmed Volunteer Fire Brigade of the City of Zug (Freiwillige Feuerwehr der Stadt Zug FFZ) was quickly on the scene, and was able to extinguish the flames in the mobile toilet unit, according to the report of the Zug law enforcement authorities. This prevented the fire spreading to the other WC units.
