EVZ matches cancelled: player tests positive

The next three games of the EVZ ice hockey team cannot take place as planned because an EVZ player has tested positive for Corona virus. The whole team is now in quarantine.

As the club reports on its website, the cantonal doctor has sent the entire team of the EVZ into a 10-day quarantine. This is after a team member tested positive for the virus and other members have shown symptoms.

This means that the game against SC Bern this Saturday night must be postponed. The next two championship matches of the EV Zug (against Lausanne HC on the 27th November, ad against HC Ambri-Piotta on the 28th November) now cannot take place as planned. The date of the re-organised matches will be communicated in due course.

Yesterday's match of the EV Zug against HC Lugano also couldn’t take place. Not because of Corona, but because the Ticino team didn’t come through the Gotthard.
