Elderly motorist dies after crashing into wall

It is sad to have to report that a 75-year old motorist died after crashing into a wall on Sunday morning.

The incident happened at around 9.30 am as the driver crashed into the wall of a house as he endeavoured to leave a car park on Grienbachstrasse in the city. According to information provided by the Zug police, it is thought the driver may have been suffering from an ongoing medical condition.

The driver was treated the spot and taken to hospital but died soon after admission.

As can be seen in the photograph, his car was written off in the incident.

The police have subsequently issued an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them without delay on 041 728 41 41.
