Collision between van and car

On Monday (6 September 2021), shortly before 11:30 a.m., there was a rear-end collision between a van and a car on the Drälikerstrasse in Hünenberg, in the direction of Sins. The car driver wanted to turn left towards Drälikon, and therefore stopped at the junction. The driver of a van that was behind the car realised this too late, and crashed into the rear of the car. The car driver had to be treated by the Zug Ambulance Service before being transferred to hospital for further checks.

A van crashed into a car, and the car driver was thereby injured.

The two vehicles suffered property damage of around CHF 15,000. The road maintenance service had to be called in due to glass splinters and liquids on the road.

Employees of the Zug rescue service, a private towing company, the road maintenance service and the Zug police were deployed for this incident.
