Collision between two cars

There was a traffic accident in the area of the construction site in Edlibach on Friday evening. Both cars were total write-offs.

A 50-year-old motorist wanted to turn left into the Ägeristrasse coming from Edlibach at the Nidfuren intersection, and thereby did not notice a 22-year-old female driver coming from the left. His vehicle collided head-on with the right side of the younger driver's car.

The 50-year old was taken to hospital for a check-up. Both cars suffered total damage and had to be towed away, and the accident led to traffic jams in the evening after-work traffic.

Employees of the Zug rescue service, a private towing company and the Zug police were on duty at the incident.
