Certain persons under the age of 65 can now be vaccinated

The prerequisite for an early vaccination is the existence of a "chronic disease with a particular risk". And this must also be confirmed by a doctor.

The number of people entitled to receive a Corona vaccination in the canton of Zug is now being expanded: According to a statement from the Health Directorate on Wednesday, 7th April, people between the ages of 16 and 64 who are "suffering from a chronic illness with a particular risk" may now also be vaccinated. These include certain forms of hypertension, diabetes or cardiovascular disease. These chronic diseases with particular risk must be confirmed by a doctor, and the following certificate must be completed on the date of the initial vaccination.

In addition, the canton of Zug is calling on all persons over 65 years of age and persons with chronic diseases with the highest risk who have not yet been vaccinated to now be vaccinated.

As usual, registration takes place online via the canton's central vaccination platform (in English).  Anyone who is one of the groups of people mentioned and who has already registered for a vaccination but has not yet received an appointment is asked to contact the Hotline of the vaccination centre (041 531 48 00).

Signed vaccination certificate
All vaccinated persons will receive a printed vaccination certificate, according to the notification. In addition, an entry in the vaccination certificate/vaccination card) is possible. Persons who wish to have this entry should take their vaccination card with them on the vaccination date. If you have already been vaccinated and want to have the vaccination certificate signed retrospectively, or if you want an entry in the vaccination booklet, you can visit the vaccination centre during  the regular opening hours.
