Car skids off the road on snow

A driver lost control of her car in the driving snow on Sunday. Only a tree stopped the car.

Four passengers escaped with just the shock in Oberägeri on Sunday afternoon. Their car left the road on the snow-covered Rämslistrasse, crashed into a post and the skidded across a meadow. A tree finally brought the car to a halt.

The four people - including the 36-year-old female driver - were able to get out of the car on their own, and were all uninjured. The damage to the car amounted to around CHF 15,000, however, and the car had to be towed away by a private towing company.
