Car lands in the river Sihl
A 22-year-old man lost control of his car on the Sihlbruggstrasse in the direction of Neuheim. The vehicle ended up in the river Sihl, whereby the fire brigade had to set up a temporary oil barrier.
A 22-year-old man lost control of his car in a right-hand bend while driving from Sihlbrugg towards Neuheim on Thursday evening. The car left the road and landed with its front end in the Sihl river, according to a report from the Zug police on Friday.

The man who caused the accident and his 17-year-old female passenger were able to leave the car on their own, and were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries. The public prosecutor on duty ordered a blood and urine sample from the driver.
The car had to be recovered with a crane, and the Zug City Fire Brigade set up a temporary oil barrier in the river Sihl. The exact cause of the accident is not yet known. The vehicle, a BMW convertible, was a complete write-off.
