Car ends up upside down after a collision

A car ended up on its roof after colliding with another vehicle In Zug. The accident occurred on the Bahnhofstrasse in the city centre shortly after 11.30 am on Thursday.
 

According to a statement from Zug Police, the 45-year-old driver was able to leave the vehicle unaided, and was fortunately uninjured. The driver of the second vehicle involved, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to hospital by the Zug emergency medical service as a precaution.

The exact cause of the accident is still unclear, according to the Zug Police, and is currently under investigation.

Traffic in the city had to be directed past the scene in a single lane while emergency services recorded the accident and recovered the vehicles. This led to some traffic disruption.
