Car collides with truck on the A4 motorway

A car and a lorry collided side-on on the A4 motorway. The accident led to considerable traffic delays.

A car and a lorry collided on the A4 motorway at the Lindencham exit at midday on Monday. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the damage to the two vehicles amounts to several thousand francs, according to the Zug police. Traffic was obstructed during the recording of the accident and the recovery of the vehicles.

The accident occurred shortly after 12 noon in the direction of Lucerne. The truck was coming from Zurich, the motorist from Zug. At the level of the exit, the vehicles collided sideways, for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police report continues. The police are therefore asking any persons who witnessed the accident and can provide further information to contact the Emergency Control Centre directly (Tel: 041 728 41 41). The truck was being driven by a 34-year-old professional driver, and the car was being driven by a 69-year-old man.
