A bus and a car collided near the Lorzentobel Bridge. Fortunately, no-one was injured, and the police are now looking for witnesses.
There was a collision between a regular bus and a car at 2.45 p.m. on Friday afternoon near the Lorzentobel Bridge in the municipality of Menzingen. This was announced by the Zug police on Friday evening. The line 2 bus was travelling from Zug towards Menzingen. Just above the Lorzentobel Bridge, for reasons still unknown, there was a lateral collision with the car being driven travelling towards Zug by a 40-year-old.

No-one was injured, according to police, but damage to the vehicles amounted to several thousand francs. As a result of the accident, traffic in the area of the accident site had to be organised in a single lane, resulting in traffic problems.
As the statements of those involved in the accident differ, the police are looking for witnesses. Anyone who witnessed the accident and can provide information on the cause is asked to contact the Zug Police Operations Control Centre (telephone number 041 728 41 41).
