Boats will have to be moved for ‘SRF bi de Lüt – Live’

The popular SRF programme ‘SRF bi de Lüüt – Live’ will be broadcast from Oberägeri during prime time on Saturday, 20th September.

This will take place ‘on the lakeside, with the beautiful backdrop of the shores of Lake Ägeri,’ writes the SRF (Swiss Radio and Television). In the meantime, the village is slowly preparing itself for the big event.

For example, the boats that are normally moored at the lakefront have been temporarily moved to the sports field near Maienmatt. And the organisation committee, consisting of members of the local community and Ägerital Sattel Tourism, among others, is still looking for volunteers who would like to ‘be part of this great event’; and there is also remuneration, by the way.

Fabienne Gyr announced euphorically on the last programme that the next programme would be broadcast from her home town of Oberägeri.              Screenshot SRF

SRF presenter Fabienne Gyr would also be willing to work for free that evening – she was born in Oberägeri and still lives there today with her young family.

And gentlemen, let me tell you something. She is really looking forward to the evening. At the end of the last programme, she shouted into the microphone: ‘The next programme will come from the most beautiful place in the world, from my home town of Obeeeeeräääägeriiii!!!
