The restaurant in the Cham industrial area has had to finally close its doors. Nothing is known about the exact reasons. The police have repeatedly been on site more recently, however.
The lights have finally gone out in the Asia Ha Long restaurant at Alte Steinhauserstrasse 15 in Cham, and a bankruptcy notice hangs on the locked front door. The restaurant started operations in February 2019 in the premises of the former "Blinker". The elaborately designed interior and tasty food were well received by the guests, as can be seen from Internet reviews.
Managing Director Thi Loan Hoang and her husband Thanh Dong Nguyen started operating the restaurant in spring 2019.

The reasons for the closure remain uncommunicated, but the corona pandemic is likely to have played a significant role, especially as the restaurant is located in a commercial area and was dependent on customers from the surrounding companies. Due to the increased use of home office, it can be assumed that the restaurant was negatively affected by a lack of guests, in addition to the pandemic-related closures.
What should be noted, however, is that according to a report by zentralplus.ch, eyewitnesses reported that the police had recently repeatedly been deployed in or at the Asia Ha Long restaurant. Police spokeswoman Judith Aklin has confirmed this at the request of zentralplus.ch. A procedure is ongoing, which is why no information on the reasons can be given. The landlady of the "Asia Ha Long" did not want to comment to the news portal.
