All the sirens worked correctly

The annual siren test in the canton of Zug has shown that the 47 stationary and 27 mobile sirens tested functioned without any problems.

A total of 47 stationary and 24 mobile sirens were tested for their functionality in the canton of Zug.

The first evaluation of the siren test carried out on Wednesday aftenoon,  5^th February, in the canton of Zug, using the Polyalert system on the basis of the Zug Polycom network showed that the alarms can be relied on. The cantonal office for civil protection and the military announced that 100 percent of the stationary and 100 percent of the mobile sirens for the general alarm were working properly.
