Ägeri to celebrate summer night festival

Ägerital-Sattel Tourism invites you to a big summer night festival in Oberägeri next Saturday – with free admission for everyone.

The Aegeri valley will be in a festive mood on Saturday, 19th July.
Ägerital-Sattel Tourism will be hosting its big summer night festival at the Seeplatz Oberägeri. The event will begin at 5.30 pm with an aperitif offered by the municipalities of Unterägeri and Oberägeri.

According to the announcement, a special highlight of the evening will be the honouring of athletes from the Ägerital valley who have distinguished themselves with exceptional performances over the past year.

There will also be plenty of music: the honours will be accompanied by the young singer Jana Stadelmann from Unterägeri, who recently made a big appearance with her band Janalynn on the open-air stage of the ESC (European Song Contest) Village in Basel. The Zug-based dialect indie pop band Lieber Vier will play from 7 pm, and the party cover band Jampigs from the Schwyz valley will play at 8.30 pm. There will then be a fireworks display at 10.15 pm, accompanied by music. And to round off the evening, Jampigs will play a second set at 10.45 pm.

Many local clubs will be running food and drink stands at the festival, and children can enjoy face painting. The Ägerisee Schifffahrt is offering extra trips on the MS Ägeri for 5 Swiss francs, with children travelling free of charge. After the festival ends at midnight, a shuttle bus will take guests safely in all directions. Participation in the festival is free of charge.
