Accident on the A4 motorway

In heavy rain, a female motorist skidded on the wet road and crashed into the guardrail. The driver had to be taken to hospital for checks.

According to the press release of the Zug law enforcement authorities, the accident occurred on the A4 motorway shortly before 5.30 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 2, immediately after the Blegi junction,. A 21-year-old woman driving in the direction of Zurich came into a skid on the wet road, hit the barrier on the right side and then crashed head-on into the central guardrail. The young female driver suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to hospital for checks. The vehicle suffered total damage.

The single-vehicle accident caused problems for the evening traffic. Employees of the Zug ambulance service, a private towing company and the Zug police were on duty.
