Accident in the morning traffic

Two cars collided at the "Nidfuren" junction near Menzingen. No one was injured, but the property damage amounts to several thousand Swiss francs.

The accident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Thursday morning (13 January 2022). A 48-year-old male driver was driving from Ägeri in the direction of the Zug, and failed to give priority at the "Nidfuren" junction. As a result, there was a side/frontal collision with a 38-year-old male driver who was coming from Zug in the direction of Menzingen.

Fortunately, no-one was injured, but there was property damage to the the cars of several thousand Swiss francs.

Both vehicles had to be loaded onto recovery vehicles in order to be removed by a private towing company. The accident led to difficulties in the morning traffic.
