A4 motorway temporarily closed after major traffic accident

Major traffic problems are to be expected around Zug on Friday afternoon. This was reported by the Zug Police after an accident on the A4 motorway near Cham. They advise drivers to avoid the area.

An accident involving several vehicles occurred on Friday morning between the Rütihof and Lindencham junctions on the A4 motorway in the direction of Zug, as reported by Zug Police on Facebook on Friday morning.

The emergency services were sent to the scene, and the vehicles involved are currently being removed. Shortly after the accident, all three lanes in the direction of Zug were closed, as the Zug police reported.

According to a report from the Zug Police on Facebook at 12:40, the Rotkreuz motorway entrance in the direction of Zug and Lucerne have now been re-opened, and all three lanes can now be used again.
