A14 motorway section between Gisikon and Rotkreuz will be closed at night

Repair work is to be carried out on the section of the A14 motorway between Buchrain and Rütihof. In order for the further work to be possible, the construction sites and traffic management will have to be adapted. Night closures between Gisikon Root and Rotkreuz are thereby necessary in order to safely change the traffic routing.

The renovation work on the Gisikon Root–Rütihof section of the A14 motorway is progressing according to plan, as reported by Astra. The installation of the traffic guidance for the next construction phase requires closures of the motorway for safety reasons. In order to keep traffic problems as low as possible, the work will be carried out at night.

In addition, the definitive road markings have to be installed on the Buchrain to Gisikon-Root section of the A14 that was renovated in the summer of 2021, as well as on the redesigned Gisikon-Root junction. For safety reasons, this work also requires night closures of various entrances and exits.
