It all starts again on Friday! In fair weather, the Freiruum will be opening its doors to hungry and thirsty guests, and Swiss specialities will now also be on offer.
The Freiruum will reopen its market hall and terrace on 7th May. The outdoor seating area has been expanded by 450 seats to coincide with the start of spring, as the operators of the Freiruum write in a statement. The dining area will be expanded to include the adjacent car park.
The sports hall has already been open for some time. According to the announcement, the operators of the food stalls are now happy to put their cooking spoons back into action again, with all the stands being allowed to open after the imposed closure. A new stand also will also extend the previous selection to include Swiss specialities.
The terrace was created during the first lockdown. Even more guests can now be accommodated on it.

Opening hours of the food stalls
- Monday to Wednesday: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Thursday to Saturday: 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Meals can be enjoyed on site on the terrace or as a takeaway. The bar operation runs directly through the outside bar, writes the Freiruum team, and the protection concept will ensure a safe environment. The Freiruum will remain closed, however, In case of bad weather.

- Thursday to Saturday: 11.30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 11.30 a.m. to 8 p.m
