32-year-old driving with 2.56 per mil

In the morning traffic, the police stopped a driver who was heavily under the influence of alcohol. The 32-year-old had to hand over his driver's license at the scene.

On Monday morning, shortly after 9 a.m., the Zug Police Operations Control Centre received a report that a car was driving from Aegeri towards Baar in a very unsafe manner and was swerving across the road. A police patrol was deployed, and was able to stop the vehicle at the junction of the Mühlegasse and the Jöchlerweg, in the municipality of Baar They then checked the 32-year-old driver.

The breath alcohol sample carried out showed a value of 2.56 per mil, according to the Zug law enforcement authorities, and the driver's license was confiscated on the spot.
