Timeless Cabinet: Spectrum

Bibliothek Zug - Ground Floor Friday, 26 Dec 2025 -Wednesday, 26 Feb 2025

A short account of colors.

Colors enter our world with one recent evolutionary development: sight. Our ability to perceive colors is a rare gift from nature, and the story of how color has influenced our culture is often unappreciated.

Timeless Cabinet blends history, archaeology, mythology, and science into insightful chunks to fuel our curiosity and desire to learn. Luring stories about fallen empires, puzzling artefacts, and groundbreaking ideas are enjoyable means to understand our past, our world, and ourselves.

About the author: Cristian Violatti is a public speaker, writer, and former editor at the World History Encyclopedia. He loves science, history, archaeology, mythology, and any 'ology' that delves into how we got here and where we are headed. He studied archaeology, focusing on ancient history, meaning he is needlessly worried about anything that has been either dead, lost, or destroyed for more than one thousand years.
