Workman sustains life-threatening injuries

A workman at the Ökihof maintenance depot sustained life-threatening injuries on Wednesday afternoon after he was hit by a forklift truck.

The incident happened shortly after 2.30 pm as the 49-year-old fell to the ground sustaining serious injuries to the head after he was hit by the truck.

He was subsequently flown to a specialist clinic beyond the cantonal boundary.
