Road work on the Rigi and Gartenstrasse in Zug

Starting Monday, February 2, construction work will start on the Rigi and Gartenstrasse in Zug.  Work will continue until the end of May 2009. In the first phase, new water lines will be laid in the Gartenstrasse (section Rigistrasse to Bahnhofstrasse). The Gartenstrasse will be closed to traffic during this time. Private access is allowed. This work will continue till the end of March.

In the second phase, the Rigistrasse will be redeveloped (section Gartenstrasse to Bundesstrasse). In the third phase, the Gartenstrasse between the Vorstadt and Rigistrasse will be redeveloped. This work is expected to be finished by the end of May.

Signalisation will be posted and people living in these areas will be informed.
