New weather station
Thanks to “hobby-meteorologist” Roland Käser, Jörg Kachelmann’s company (private meteorology company) is now in canton Zug.
Jörg Kachelmann’s private weather service is now newly represented in canton Zug. The first weather station from Meteomedia and a ten metre high wind pole now stands in Unterägeri. The professional set up is installed in front of Roland Käser’s apartment. Roland Käser has been gathering weather data for the past ten years using his self-constructed weather station in his yard. The weather data from the new station can be seen on Käser’s homepage (www.aegeriwetter.ch).
There are also weather stations from Meteo Switzerland weather service in canton Zug. The stations in Oberägeri and Cham are fragile and often do not transmit data. “That is misery for Meteo Switzerland. Despite investing millions, it doesn’t work right”, says Kachelmann.
