Meyer Burger cutting back production

The solar energy company Meyer Burger Technology Group will cut back their production due to the difficult market situation. Possible scenarios and measures to adjust capacity are in preparation.

"One must react to customer delays" it says in their press release. Already at their branch in Thun temporary jobs have been cut back. Over-time pay and compensation for unpaid holidays will be scrutinized.

Meyer Burger is active in the solar industry and the company has their headquarters in Baar.
