Lottery fund distributes the money

The city of Zug, the Baarer Chamber Orchestra and the Zurlauben Collection will receive financial support from the Zuger lottery fund.

The Zurlauben Collection will recieve 195,000 francs for the years 2009 – 2011. With the money the work on the Zurlauben documentation project can be continued, according to the State chancellery.

9,500 francs will be used to digitalize the already printed volumes. The Zurlauben Collection is a private library belonging to the Zuger Beat Fidel Zurlauben and is kept at the Aargauer cantonal library.

The canton of Zug will reimburse the city of Zug for their contribution for the UBS-Arena which was organised during the EURO 08 football championships. 15,000 francs will be given for the first Zuger “Alterstag” (Day of the Aged) in March and 12,000 francs for each year will go to the Baarer Chamber Orchestra for the years 2008 through 2010.
