Landis + Gyr headquarters again in Zug

Landis+Gyr is the new parent company of the Bayard Group and is therefore again a Swiss group of companies with the parent company and operational headquarters in Zug.

In last May it was announced that the newly founded Landis + Gyr Holding AG would bring in all the participation of the Australian Bayard Group under one roof.

The Zuger Director of Economy Matthias Michel is pleased with this step: “The return of Landis + Gyr strengthens Zug as a technology location. It is a very special success story. There is not another enterprise that shaped the industrial development of our canton as strongly as the in 1896 in Zug based, former Landis & Gyr”. The company, with a turnover of 1.25 billion dollars and over 5,000 persons employed is world market leader in the so-called Smart Metering, energy management solutions in the field of electricity, heat and gas meter.
