Intruders smash through brick wall in business premises

Intruders made their entry through a roof and subsequently smashed through a brick wall to get to a safe in a business property in Walterswil at the weekend, making off with several thousands of francs.

The break-in occurred sometime between 11 pm on Saturday 17 November and 8am on Sunday 18 November at business premises on Sihlbruggstrasse in Walterswil, which is part of the municipality of Baar.

According to the police, having gained entry to the building, the intruders went on to break through two office doors and searched around for valuables. They then broke through a brick wall to gain entry into a further office where they managed to open a safe and steal several thousands of francs before making off in an unknown direction.
