Intentional misinformation?
Last drop in the bucket
In the last two editions of the Amtsblatt the City Planning agency published information about plans. “These had the GGR decision number 1479, but neither the title nor the decision nor details where it is” says CVP Councilman Urs. B. Wyss. “The normal citizen has no idea what decision and which plans are being dealt with”. The fact that also the reference to the plans and the report from the Building and Planning commission do not have a title or information on where it is and not even a plan number is named, is the last drop in the bucket. “That borders on intentional misinformation” says Wyss.
Do measures need to be taken?
Unfortunately, it is not the first time that this sort of thing has happened. Wyss would therefore like an explanation from the City Council – how this could happen and whether the correct information will be published. In addition, he would like that the City Council thinks about how they will avoid such errors in the future, and whether “guidelines for public information” and the concept for internal and external communication needs to be revised.
The plans dealt with a decision from November 18 concerning the Volksinitiative to limit the height of buildings to a maximum of 25 meters high in the area between the two train lines and the lake.
