Foyer construction plans

A further multi-storied building is to be constructed in Zug. The talk is of a multi-storied building surrounded with ample public space. The Zuger city council has submitted the Foyer development plan to the municipal council.

The construction concept is based on the existing urban structures and is characterised by the generous expanse of public space, as is communicated in the Amtsblatt.

The concept respects the Landis & Gyr parent house as well as the Platanenplatz square. It foresees for the construction of a high-rise, which will make it possible to create a park-like and tree-covered public space in the middle of the city of Zug.

The high-rise building is based on a design competition from the year 1990 and conforms with the special use plan of Landis & Gyr / SBB-West, which the voters accepted on May 18, 2003.
