Driver lucky to escape injury

The 46-year-old driver of a car had a lucky escape when his car crashed into two trees on Wednesday.

The incident happened at 11.45 pm as he was proceeding from Hünenberg towards Sins on Drälikerstrasse.

Perhaps as a result of excessive speed, the driver lost control over his vehicle, which skidded off the road, crashing, as mentioned, into two trees in an adjacent wood, resulting in the car being written-off, as can be seen in the photographs. Fortunately, no other vehicle was involved.

Initially the driver left the scene of the accident but later returned; he can now expect to hear from the prosecution authorities.
