Driver loses metal part on highway

An unknown driver lost pieces of metal on the A4 motorway between Rotkreuz and Küssnacht, in the Sijentalwald area, on Monday, December 17, before 9.45 a.m. A truck driver drove over a metal plate, causing it to be hurled onto the oncoming carriageway, where it was run over by a car, Zug police reported. A subsequent car also collided with the stair-like object and was damaged.
 
Damage to the three vehicles amounted to more than 10,000 Swiss Francs. Police are searching for the driver who lost the metal part, or any witnesses who can provide details about the involved driver or vehicle.
