Building Department looking for external specialists

The city of Zug plans to spend 40 million francs in building projects in the next four years. But who should supervise quality and planning? In the last couple of years the city planned some large projects. Now it’s necessary, according to Dolfi Mueller, mayor of Zug, to convert these for 40 million francs. This is a pleasant thing, especially at a time when the economy is dependant on orders. Mueller: “We want to tackle the different projects as quickly as possible” But since costs are considerably affected by quality and project management, quality assurance and cost control by specialists are indispensable.
However, this is also dependant on personnel resources, and currently this is a big problem at the City Building Department. “At this time we do not have enough resources available". In other words – not enough personnel!
