Baar fire caused by cigarette

On Wednesday evening on the 14th of January, shortly after 8 p.m. a fire broke out in a room on the first floor of a building on the Dorfstrasse in Baar. The Baarer fire department was able to get the fire quickly under control. Immediately afterwards the specialists from the police began their work.
According to the criminal investigative authorities, evidence shows that the fire in the room was caused by a  cigarette. Upon questioning, the 19 year old resident of the room and a 16 year old acquaintance admitted to smoking cigarettes in the room on Wednesday afternoon. Twice, when the ashtray was full, they emptied the apparently extinguished cigarettes into a plastic bag. After the two left the room in the evening for a short time,the fire broke out

Around 120,000 francs in damages
No one was injured in the fire. The room was completely destroyed and the stairwell and additional rooms suffered smoke damage. The building is no longer inhabitable. Damages, according to first estimates, are around 120,000 francs.
The young woman will have to answer to the law.
