25 million journeys undertaken on services provided by the ZVB in 2017

The Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe AG transport company (ZVB) held its AGM on Thursday 14 June, for the first time under the new chair of the board, Silvia Thalmann-Gut.

What was most encouraging for her to be able to report was that, over the course of 2017, the number of journeys undertaken had risen to over 25 million, an increase of by 85,000, or 0.34 per cent, in comparison with the previous year, and this despite fewer services being offered.

On the financial side, the company had also managed to increase its annual profit by CHF 500,000 to CHF 840,000.

Managing director Cyrill Weber was also pleased to be able to report that services had been able to be maintained throughout out the year, with no major disruption, the company buses covering as many as 65 million kilometres.
